Ok what is the worse transitions from books to screne you have seen.

Personally i have to say Legend of The Seeker based on the Sword of Truth Series ( Think thats the series name). Watched season one of it, which is based on the book Wizards First Rule and have to say, about 5% of the book, if any at all made it to the series.

Sherlock Holmes opens in 3,600+ theaters on Christmas Day, but the real question is... does anybody care? Once anticipated, you have to figure that the film will now likely be overshadowed by Avatar which seeks to increase its audience thanks to good word of mouth, and first time viewings by all those who held out on seeing it opening weekend in order to check it out on the holiday.

Beware: Don't overestimate on Sherlock Holmes. The film opens on Christmas Day. Many theaters...
