He continued down the dark path, not minding the incline. Dark catacombs or deeper dark catacombs, there wasn't much difference at this point, it was
all just dark. Granted that was an annoyance. Dark made it harder to see somewhat, at least normally. It wasn't a huge issue, though. He sighed, wondering
when whoever or whatever was down here was going to show. If he came all the way down here and left empty handed he'd be quite irritated.
He heard the pebbles before he saw them. There was no one moving them, obviously. There had to be something making them move against nature, though. He could
only detect the feintest traces of the Force around them. As the third one passed his free hand extended, the pebble flying to it mid-bounce. He raised it to
his face to inspect it closely. There was nothing special about it. It was just a pebble. Something was toying with him, he could feel it. He crushed the rock
between his fingers and continued down.
He didn't feel the need to draw his blade, at least not yet. He didn't sense that he was in any danger, and he had a fairly good sense of that he liked to think. His head shifted about as he looked for any sign of... well, anything. It frustrated him to no end that he couldn't pick up on what was down here. He had ruled out any apprentices. If it were them he would have spoted them easily by now. The little control they had over the Force wouldn't be enough to hide themselves from him. He didn't think that any of the masters would be down here simply to have fun. Then what was it?
