Yeah, I could have been a little baser while getting my point across but... I don't know... I just think alliteration is swell

Did you enjoy the 'pouty, petty and pathetic' line?

Heh, yeah alliteration is the bomb.
But theses are big boys and girls here I'm sure they could've handled it. |

Every year it's my New Year's resolution to stop arguing on teh interwebs and I always, always, always break
it.
... How long did I last this year? Four weeks? Hmm... that might be a record, actually. |

I did read Sophie's post. It was entertaining, sharp and direct

Considering it must have been directed at me since Korran is not allowed to 'reinvest in TSC' since he is restricted from being a member there, I will
just say this:
I enjoy smaller factions. Rant all you want at me over my personal choices, but I do. I do not want to repeat the 'past' either (aka being a leader at a faction), or else I would be all for having a rule of one, the triumvirate, or a few - which I clearly stated I am not. I have tried at TSC with an alt to no avail, and I am not going to state all the problems in a rant for I see that it is useless and basically pointless. People simply have different perspectives, I am not going to try to force feed my opinions on to another. I am not going to be somewhere I do not ooc enjoy simply for a game on the internet. If this causes you to come out of the woodwork and yell at those who disagree with the current situation, then so be it. That is exactly what I do not agree with - someone has a different opinion and suddenly they are called petty, in it for a popularity contest, wanting to repeat the past and whatnot. I have seen this among the current staff members at TSC, and one of the reasons I do not wish to be active there. My current opinion stands, I would like to see another faction and would join it if it is more based not on singular rule (or even multiple rule) as Korran wishes, but more on discordance. If someone disagrees with having another faction, simply state your opinion without belittling those who disagree with you. |

First of all, if you have issues with TSC staff then you should voice them to one of us. This is the first complaint I believe I've heard from you about
us. In all beliefs I think the current staff at TSC are doing a great job. I'd like to see who we're 'belittleing' or accusing others about
'popularity'. Yes I'm calling you out on this, because if you don't voice your opinions which obviously you don't have the time to hash
out to any of us in this thread or from what I've seen, um ever? It means you really don't want to work with TSC. You want your own faction and
pretty much your mind is made up.
You want your own faction, sure that's great. But if you're gonna call out staff I want you to be able to back that up. |

I will not point out individual comments over the past (besides the ones I list below) to get into a large debate. If you do not want to trust me- that is
fine, I don't really care.
But just from recent stuff look through this thread to see some staff comments about this turning into a popularity contest (yes, it was just stated as a concern, but god, I have heard that so many times before) and Sophie calling those who do not want to be at TSC 'pouty, petty and pathetic' and wanting to relive the past (and yes, Sophie is admin over at TSC so therefore staff). Also a staff accused those who want another faction as 'having their own agenda' in this thread as well. These are just some examples I pulled out of this one thread, and I do not feel like voicing my opinions to you guys because I do not care for all that ooc drama. As said, this is a game - if someone says something that is bothersome, I don't really care - however, I am not going to sit there and be in a faction I don't enjoy. |

What the hell just happened? Korran just put forth a well thought out idea that would lead to more interesting stories and a growth of activity among both
potential factions and everyone's just bickering about stuff completely aside from that. I'm noticing that the people who came up with the idea for
this faction are posting in this thread less and less because the stupid bickering was NOT the point of this.
Whatever, I guess it was worth a try. |

Woo... I think everyone should chill.
As Dale Carnegie wrote, "A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still". So no point arguing and getting worked up over this, because no one will be happy in the end. |

I sentiments exactly Remy. All this petty +**% has certainly scared me away from checking the topic out as much. Remember that remark I made about tearing at
each other's throats? Well you're doing it. You people have taken what was meant as a team building exercise and made it into an us vs. them brawl. If
you don't like the idea of a new faction then say so, but keep that *#@@ crap that only spurs more arguments to yourself. If you need to say something then
take the advise that has been thrown around alot lately and TAKE IT TO PM!
::end rant:: |

Indeed.
We're here to discuss the faction idea proposed by Korran. Having rants about people disliking one another, small whiny reason why the faction shouldn't be split or why it should be split aren't worth even mentioning, and makes you look much like a child. The purpose here is to discuss legitimate benefits and negatives of having a new faction added. Not personal agendas by people who don't want to see TSC loose a couple members. Maybe it comes from being with TGE my entire time here, but having a smaller member base has never really been a bad thing so I don't know why everyone is complaining that TSC will be so much smaller that they'll die out. Korran put forth an idea, and we're just waiting on the chubby green guy to give us any sort of response other than 'meow' xD |

I don't mind if people make a second faction, go for it. But when they take decide to take a jab at the whole of TSC staff, I feel the need to speak up,
sorry.

As far as I can see none of those that were behind the planning the other night have taken a jab at the TSC. Just because some supports of the new force
faction idea do it does not mean the driving body behind the idea think that way. That being said, I've seen the list of people who would join if this
became a reality. Very few of which are actual members of TSC. A majority are either rogue, old characters that would be resurrected for this, or new sith
characters all together. So I don't see how it can be accused of taking from TSC...wow...2 out what?.....30+ members
