It is, i blame TV, the way that liberals have destroyed everything with their perceived rights and wrongs. We had an awesome system before the first hippy
arose.

I have to say I don't really care. :P She's the daughter of the Governor...that's hardly breaking news. Now, if Sarah Palin divorced, then it would
be news worthy. This is just a footnote.

Hahaha! I actually nearly laughed out loud at that one. Is the saying "pot calling the kettle black" used outside of England too?! |

I would use it on quite a few people. And I whether or not I was staring them in the eye wouldn't make any difference. If you could do it in private but
not do it in front of them, that's pretty cowardly. Bearing in mind the people I'd target I flat out hate, I'd stare into their eyes, mutter the
words and spit on their corpse.

1) Hippymobiles rule. Oh to be a 70's teenager *sigh*
2) I'd instantly win any argument. Hmm, dangerous. I suppose the real question is who wouldn't be tempted to use it at some point, there are plenty of nasty people out there. I'm not saying they deserve a horrible deathly end, or that I should orchestrate it, just that the world would be better off in some cases without

Man, I wish Retsam was here, the two of us would've had some very interesting convos about this topic, lol. Infact, we have already.
But yeah, I know there'd be time that I'd be tempted to use it but I have to say that I hope I would not. I mean you see bad people in the world and sometimes it seems better to kill them off, but I don't know if thats still the right thing to do. I'm one of those people that are kind of ok with it so long as I'm not "pulling the trigger." Like how I love hamburgers but probably would feel bad if I killed a cow. But hopefully I'd stay true to my word and my own personal vows and not use it. |

Re: Would you turn to canabalism if you had to?
|
Well the senario was given to put you in a do or die situation, though lets say that you're on an island under contract with ABC, that should take care of
it (all polar bears were on strike). But yeah, I mean eventually you'd get to know the people there, you might even end up eating the guy or girl that
shows you how to be a cannibal...but if you don't eat them, you'd die.
Right now it doesn't sound like much, something that I'd be strangely comfortable with...but if the situation actually came up, I might get pretty grossed out. I don't know if I could do it. However, the indians...er, Native Americans, believe that eating human flesh will grant you powers, several cutures also have similar tails of gaining power from eating humans. I've heard that human meat is the sweetest, though I don't know if thats true, of course. One of the origin stories of the Wendigo (a personal favorite mythical creature of mine) has cannabalism as the only method to turn a person into one. It's always kind of facinated me, though it's not something I'd probably ever want to try. Knowing that I was eating Bob or Ted who just happened to pass away would be kind of creepy :P |

Re: what do your friends say about you and your character?
|
Yeah, I have several friends. Many of them are kind of gung ho action military guys (most of them joined the military) but most of my friends and I are unique.
There are traits that I share with my friends, though my friends share more traits with each other then I share with them. I've always kind of been the odd
man out in any group, though I usually keep my persona in check depending on who I'm with. Partly so they don't get wierded out by me and partly
because...well it can be useful to hide your true nature. Most people don't know that I know more then just video games and anime, and it's very easy
to sound smart when I start spouting something other then "Down circle forward punch."
Also, another ideology is that you pick friends like your family. I can pretty much pick out the traits of my family members in my friends. Ya'll should try that out and see what you get :P |

I've got to agree with Phylis - people break up all the time, regardless of age, and as such there is nothing noteworthy about it. After all, their private lives hardly concern us and the fact that Bristol Palin's mother is governor does not make it more important. |

Re: Report: Bristol Palin and fiancé split

What makes it important is that the media insisted that Governor Palin was some kind of hypocrite because she was unable to physically possess her daughter to
the point that she could prevent Bristol's irresponsible actions, and therefore she should not have accepted her party's nomination for the Vice
Presidency.
The fact that we are continuing to hear about Bristol Palin is because if she dropped off the radar when she was done being used for political purposes, people might begin to realize that the media was exploiting a teenager for political reasons. ![]() |
