Metal Gear Solid 4 was crazy, to say the least. If you never played an MGS game before MGS 4, you will be lost. All the characters from previous games, dead or alive, seem to make returns even if it is for only a split second when you have to voluntarily push X. I got bored with the dialogue since characters seem to say the same thing over and over for 30 minutes, mostly just about nanomachines and PMC's, and most of it is stuff that we could have already guessed about without the need of characters pointing things out. It's full of random and unpredictable twists that makes you wonder if Hideo Kojima is schizophrenic. MGS4 would also be a very hard to make movie. It's split up into at least 5 parts with an epilogue and debriefing that could all be movies on their own. Either we'd have to have a 5 hour marathon or have each part cut down so significantly that it would be a great disappointment.

At least Hideo Kojima was smart enough to say that he would never let Uwe Boll make an MGS movie after Boll started rumors that he's trying to get rights to make the movie.
