Halo had a good story, I enjoyed it. Ceel, it isn't just programmers, these companies hire story writers to write and plan these cutscenes, to write these
stories the games are based on. Halo would be boring if it was just constantly shooting +@#% up. I'm sorry, I strongly disagree with you on that point. And
you can't tell me I've never read a book before, because I'm here and obviously know a lot about SW from reading the books, and a read a lot more
books then just that.

I think you have to be in the right "mindset" to enjoy those types of movies, Bane. Non stoners don't really enjoy them.

Anything by:
Mel Brooks Monty Python Trey Parker and Matt Stone or the Marx Brothers... Has anyone seen Duck Soup? It's HILARIOUS! Some of my other favorite funny movies have been mentioned, like Emperor's New Groove, Fear and Loathing and The Big Lebowski. I'll add... Princess Bride This is Spinal Tap Ghostbusters Groundhog Day National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation Dogma Mallrats Dr. Strangelove Hot Shots! The 40 Year Old Virgin Zoolander The Birdcage High Fidelity ... and Eurotrip because 'Scotty Doesn't Know' was one of the funniest running gags ever |

I would love to see Asimov's Foundation series made into a movie.

Would also like to add that Spies Like Us was a great comedy, especially early in the movie when Aykroyd and Chase are going through their training.

Re: Movie Discussion | ||

I'll drink to that. More importantly, I wanna see Ringworld put to the big screen. With the advanced CGI we have now, a Pierson's Puppeteer
isn't too hard to grasp, and we could make Kzinti look badass. Louis Wu is a candidate to be cooler than any character ever played by Bruce Willis. The
story is just confusing enough to make it into a Sci-Fi smash hit, and there's just something about the name Burning Needle of Inquisition that
has a good movie ring to it.

Halo is gay.
I'd like to see some Terminator sequels that don't suck, for a change. Also, if the sci-fi channel made more Dune movies after they stopped on Children of Dune, I would like that as well. |

Neil Gaiman's 'American Gods' or 'The Sandman'.
Than again. Hollywood would just !**+ both up, so meh... Let's just say that I want to see the sequel to 'The Boondock Saints' made. That's more plausible. |

Dogma was great, however I resent all the "late comers" who never supported Kevin Smith, or even knew who he was, until about the time Dogma came
out.

Nobody plays a videogame for "the story". Its like saying you real Playboy for "the articles".
And Star Wars novels are just more bestsellers list garbage. |

I wish they'd make a movie chronicling Fred Astaire's life. Unfortunately, his will stipulates that no such movie can be made...

Some people do play video games for the story.
