All I'm saying is that you have faith in people to protect OUR country but they go to other countrys and rape women or torture prisoners. In some figment of someones imagination people may actually think that you're making the world a safe place but as long as people have psychological issues or mental perversions entrusting them with power over others is dangerous.

My point is extremely valid, this is not only for your military, this is for your government and religions too. Preists who are saying the closest way to be to god is to be celibate then they have sex with little boys. They're the same preists who say homosexuality is a sin.

How about that senator who was caught a year or two ago luring minors to his house for sex and to drink alcohol. That is the same senate who right now has it so in most states same-sex marriage is illegal and that giving alcohol to minors is as well. He received a pardon and still holds his seat.

What about other government officials soliciting prostitutes?

Or maybe 33 year old marines who was trained by this country to overpower, improvise, and adapt to defeat enemies soliciting out sex from a 14 year old girl to potential recruits of his and maybe even kidnapping her.

The head of IRS recently was put on trial for not paying his taxes! The head of the IRS!

The corruption is everywhere, and you still have your faith in these things. Bah.......people in power are as corrupt or more corrupt then the public except they get away with it. They get away with it on a daily basis.

We need to continue training people to kill and abuse one another because you know.....hurting or ending another persons life is such a hard thing to do......it's not like they'll just die on their own if you let them.

Yes, that is the type of people we have become. The kind that burn down, bomb, or violently protest things that we don't agree with or understand. This is the point I have been trying to get at! HELLO! People look around the world and think there's nothing wrong with how people get wrapped up in petty things. Instead of staying away from the coffee shop they burned it down and then say because it wasn't "appropriate". Hypocrisy! It's amazing how people are.....truly amazing.

Self-deception and extremist reaction to negative stimulus are what we teach people nowadays. This is what we idealize in our popular culture and enforce with our personal prejudice and biases. It makes me sad.
