Darth Gravis had seen the events unfold between Salim and Decion. The game was typical for most Sith - prey on the weak to make themselves look bigger. The Apprentice to his Lady Silencia had been preparing for his next strike against the Jedi Order but the surge in the force, the presence of another dark sider within this city had drawn his attention and so Gravis found Decion picking a fight with a person obviously unskilled. What drew Gravis attention towards the man with the head scarf was how he conducted himself with Decion. Darth Decion was not well known amongst the Sith, though his name floated about, hardly anyone ever saw him. Where as Gravis felt Xander Starkiller was conceided, Decion made Xander look like a novice. This particular Lord felt he was above all others and expected people to move in his presence. Now this so called Sith Lord was picking a fight with an unarmed man. How pathetic. So Gravis stood and Gravis watched. He could not read lips nor hear what was being said, he did see the actions clearly. Decion was the first to make a move, drawing his blade then attempting to swat at the man. A grin crossed Gravis' face as he watched Salim swat the hand away, dodge a saber attack and once more swat the hand away before bolting. This man had some skill in defending himself. He had reflections, which were good and had the sense to run. Gravis bolted too and predicted exactly which was Salim would turn.

As Ibn-Abad turned down the first side street he neared, Gravis was already there, aided by the force, he stood before the man, his own saber in hand. Gravis had no interest in scarf wearing man, nor what he had done to garnish such attention from a Sith Lord. He didn't care. Gravis mission was to show the Jedi their own hypocrisy's but along those lines the Apprentice to his Lady Silencia would have no problem showing fellow Sith their own. "If you want to live get behind me." Gravis snapped, his eyes focused on the man whom now tried to rush off from Decion. "I have no interest in harming you, now do as I say and get behind me." Decion was a moron. He should have spent his time advancing the Sith Order, serving the Dark Side and destroying the Jedi at any chance which arised. Instead he was on this planet, harassing a man much weaker than himself? Gravis may have been an Apprentice but even he stood up to people much stronger than him. He stood toe to toe with Hawk Hinata while killing a Padawan Learner in front of his former Master, making the famed Hinata look like a douche. He outsmarted Vohn Exel by taking Eris, his fellow Apprentice hostage in order to get that particular Master Jedi to surrender. He abducted Knights and Padawans and claimed a few Jedi's lives. Gravis was true Sith. Decion was not.

Still, Decion fell within the Orders Ranks which meant what Gravis was about to do was raise his weapon towards a fellow Sith, a crime in itself. He would be breaking many of the unwritten laws and openly challenging a Lord. If Gravis lost, his Lady Silencia would not be here to help him. Gravis was on his own. "I am Darth Gravis. When I give you the chance, get out of here." Learner The Apprentice still had much to learn about the force, his stress levels were astronomical and having to deal with this Sith Lord was not helping matters. Decion would be here any moment and the anticipation was growing. Gravis pulled his saber free of his waist, the saber itself a borrowed gift from his Master and readied it. Gravis was the senior Apprentice for a reason. Those who underestimated him often ended up looking more foolish than they already were. Still... this was Gravis about to raise his own weapon against a fellow Sith. His icy blue eyes narrowed, he pressed the button on the handle, the red blade bursting forth and stuck it out to his side. Darth Gravis was ready.
