I'm watching the men's final now, and Roddick has broken Federer in the fourth set, and... frankly, I'm just astonished at how boring Andy Roddick is to watch. His serve is fantastic, probably the best in the game, but it's jsut so dull - you're only watching half a match because most of his service games never get past the return. The big serve style of play is getting pretty old. Time to remove the second serve and force players to go for skill rather than unreturnable power?

Heh, Roddick is public enemy number one according to the British press. I don't really mind who wins this match, but it'd be nice if some tennis actually happened during it.

No kidding. Man, Nadal-Federer is unbelievable to watch. I'm typing this now because I'm bored.

Well, that was a slog of a match! I get the impression that Roddick was just run into the ground by the end there, and pretty much gave up.

Still, I've been following Federer since he beat Sampras in 2001, so I'm pleased at the outcome even if the match wasn't too great to watch. Nadal is amazing though, you're absolutely right. Watching Nadal play Federer, you can see how tennis had an influence on the lightsaber choreography in the prequel trilogy.
