After a few more loops and dives, Black Leader, that was, Voxon Doom, made his way back into the proper formation of the fleet and gazed with renewed vision
over the panorama that was the Imperial attack fleet. They were poised to attack the planet, and take hold of the Abrega system while showing the Jedi that
the Empire would factor more in their lives, whether they wanted to live in their hermit holes on Naboo (and other places), or not. However, most of the
politics around the decision to attack meant little to Voxon Doom. He was a TIE pilot, and he would attack when ordered. It seemed like those orders would
be coming in soon, but in reality, he and the rest of Black Squadron had been escorting an immobile fleet, waiting for the precious orders and transmits of
hyperspace coordinates that would signal the operation was a 'go'.
As far as any plans was concerned, Voxon knew for a fact that close air support had worked well against the Sith on Mustafar, and as such, it was probably a
strategy that they would adopt against the Jedi on Ossus. The TIE Interceptors Voxon and the rest of Black Squadron favored were more suited for
starfighter-to-starfighter engagements, but that also meant that their laser cannons were very effective against standard infantry, which most Jedi could
arbitrarily represent; the fact that the TIE/In's cannons were generally too powerful for the standard lightsaber to handle helped a bit too. Voxon was
confident Black Squadron would bring the rain to Ossus. As the final thought mused him on his standard flightpath, he received a confirmation from Black
Ten, Cadet Rork, that he was at the ready.
An incoming comm bleep cut him off: they had orders. When the broadcast was done, Voxon nodded;
"You heard him, Black Squadron; arm all weapons at the ready, and prepare to shoot down all
non-friendlies in Ossus space and planetside. We'll be flying air superiority and close air support for this mission. When the fleet jumps into
hyperspace, fly into the gravity well of the nearest cap ship, we'll ride their hyperspace streams with them. If that makes you squeemish, well, get
docked. Above all you have one order." he emphasized;
"Do not die!"

The colonel finished giving his orders to check weapons and maintain equipment and then went back to his own business. Battle wasn't ever a big deal for
TK-643, in fact, such was his attitude that he may as well have been staying on the shuttle. Emotionless, stoic, and above subservient of the Empire, the only
thing on his mind was the question of equipment. The shuttle they were on was equipped with its own armory, so if he thought his slugthrower rifle was
inadequate, or the kinetic-force blaster was unnecessary, he would be able to switch configurations. That thought was running through his head as he sat
against the cold bench of the shuttle, which never seemed to get warmer no matter how long he sat on it. Oh well, that much didn't matter, he supposed.
Minutes later, he was approached by a fellow trooper, and though he was the superior officer, he stood from his seat and saluted in greeting.
He asked about orders, and Sixforthree was about to tell him to hang tight, when the comm unit in his ear (separate from his helmet) ringed pointedly, and a
crisp male voice, an officer from the Executor's ship, issued orders.
"We're being split into groups; The main army is to go with General Arakin and advance upon the
village, for sniping and blockading. Squint pilots provide support for the army, and anyone with me is to investigate the Crystal Caves in the area. A
chemical or incendiary solution is likely in that area. Those are the standing orders, soldier."
A final salute, and he was finished with the bulk of his talk.
"That is all, for the moment. Any questions?"

Gardens Of Talla - Ossus
A Little Earlier (Jessan) Relax...breath... try to ignore that clicking sound.... I have a bad feeling about this.... RELAX....BREATH.... The dazzling deep green eyes of Katarine Ryiah opened slightly to let small slivers of light inside. What little she did see was what was supposed to be there. She was in the ancient gardens of Ossus, and the serene majesty was overpowering. Unfortunately the innate beauty of the place was not what was disturbing Kat's mediation. Her mind was ill at ease and the mere rocks seemed to buzz with a warning she didn't understand. As someone who had been practicing psychometry only limited it was very difficult for her to gain knowledge from the senses touch brought her. She could tell it was a warning but what value it held for her was to be determined. The Jedi sighed, most uncharacteristically impatient, and shifted from her cross legged position to one with her feet stretched out in front of her, her hands behind her. She glanced out at the gardens and tried to drink in her surroundings. The Naboo gardens were beautiful to be sure but a change of scenery was welcomed. It wasn't the change she wanted of course but the woman really had no idea what she wanted. The nightmares were becoming more frequent even though it had been months since she had made contact with her former padawan. One would think Kat knew a lost cause when she seen one but some fools never learned. The wind picked up slightly, causing small goosebumps on her bare shoulders. Her customary black flight jacket lay beside her and Kat felt no desire to put it over the white tank top just yet. She welcomed the uncomfortable wind. At least it helped her realize how on edge she was. Whatever had led her to Ossus wasn't showing itself and the buzzing was getting louder but less clear somehow. She really ought to have someone guide her in this field. Trying to teach yourself advance Force talents wasn't easy. It wasn't easy at all. |

May had been searching for ten minutes or more and was getting more and more frustrated. There were very few loose stones, and she did not bring a pick to cut anything off, if need be. Should she use her saber? Nah. Though worth money, those were not the reason she was here. She had something in particular in mind. A few lightsaber-grade gems lie at the bottom of her pouch already, but that was to take back to the Temple. All of the larger stones had been very unrefined, or just shards of stone or other trinkets from previous visitors. There was even an old shoe, caught in the owner's escape, most likely. Her expectations were too high. Of course she wouldn't find anything within the first few minutes of being there, but still, it made her nervous going this deep into this labyrinth, especially since she had been hearing all kinds of weird noises: drip drops, footfall echoes, and now ... what sounded like... she ran farther in to hear better. It was a man's voice, though his words were inaudible. It struck her that she was not alone. Down the rabbit hole... to sate her curiosity. |

Black Squadron - Imperial Fleet

There was something about Voxon's speech that was just a little cheesy, well that and telling the squeamish people to dock. Black Squadron was not for the faint of heart and no one in the squadron was, or would admit, to being such a baby that they would dock with a ship for the jump. He edged his fighter in closer to one of the capital ships, a large Star Destroyer that his IFF tagged as the fleets flag ship. Apparently the Executor himself was leading this attack. Mark wasn't exactly sure what that meant to him, he supposed it was a great honor to fight with this Admiral Disra though. After all the man had likely worked for his rank, it was unlikely that the man simply had it handed to him. The Cadet flipped the safety off his ships cannons and wiggled the fighter around a little, playing with the throttle and the turning to get a feel for the targeting systems. They had just been overhauled by the ground crews prior to this deployment and he hadn't had a chance to test them out yet. Not a prospect he relished going into a fight with, but he would live. He hoped. |

Great Jedi Temple - Phylis, Mike
Dean stoped and looked behinde himself, when he heard a voice break the silence hanging in the Temple. As he turned around he saw a face that he hadn't seen in a long time, an old friend and fellow Jedi, Phylis. "Indeed it is" he said with a grin "Its good to see you again, its been a while" the look on his face became more serious as she mentioned feeling the disturbance "I to have felt this disturbance, Master but I'm unsure of what it it" He turned his attention away for a moment and have Mike a nod as he approched the two. He listened to Mike as he spoke of the disturbance possibility being Sith related and that they should perhaps tighten security around the temple. "Perhaps you are right. Tightening security around the Temple and send some patrols to the out lying areas just to be on the safe side might be a good idea" he turned his gaze to Phylis "What do you think Master" |

"Uncle, I fixed the...."
He was about to say he'd fixed the droid that ran the local cantina, he was a local favorite whom they would never see replaced, but he could clearly see that his Uncle was busy. On his side he worse his blaster pistol and strapped to his back was a repeater. In his hand he held his tool kit. He was one of the Jedi handymen, so to speak. He fixed anything that broke down because that's what he was good at. Either way, he walked back over to their speeder and put his tools up before walking back over to wait with his Uncle. "I fixed the droid," he said under his breath. "Sorry about interrupting." |

Griff continued to stumble through the caves hoping to find somewhere something decent might have formed. Retsam had told him long ago that usually the Jedi found a place with a high concentration of usable crystals and made a meditation chamber there. Somewhere a new padawan could meditate to create and attune their lightsaber. It was deeper, past those chambers, where the older and more unique crystals usually formed. Griff didn't know if any of this was true but who better to trust than a man born and raised on Ilum, so it made sense to be this deep in... Suddenly he caught hold of the sound of footsteps, this was moreso through his cybernetic audio sensors more than his ears. They were however getting closer and faster. The most likely conclusion was somebody else was in here, this deep, and they had heard him. Fight, fake or flee... it only seemed to be one person, perhaps they were lost also? That would explain why they'd speed up to get to him. "Hello?" he called out into the caves, "I can hear you. Have you also misplaced your sense of direction?" If the person proved to be someone who would attempt to arrest Griff he had a nasty little surprise waiting in each hand, the left held his pistol and the right a fragmentation grenade. |

Following the Blue Rabbit Darn. How'd he hear her? Were her shoes squeakier than she thought? Those droids would be oiling and shining them when she got back to Naboo, yes they would. Hand went right to her blaster hilt. This time she heard his words loud and clear, he must only be a curve or two away. And what did he mean by that? Also misplaced? Was he lost? Was he asking if she was? It did not seem like he had bad intentions, or deceit in his voice. And he'd find her soon enough anyway. Best to play along, rather than explain. "Helloooooo. Yes. Yes, I am also." She kept trodding on toward his voice, small light on her keyring, keeping it dim so he could not see her properly when they met up. A few meters later, she could make out the form of a big, muscled male with ... lekku. He appeared to have a green glow about him, from the yellow light he carried, meaning he was... blue. No, it couldn't be. What were the odds? She slowed her approach. |

An answer came to his calls, that was good. Ok, I'll play it safe. No use of cybernetics or thoughts of my true purpose here.
Some Jedi can read minds, no point risking it. Will still need to cover my mind with bumbling thoughts, random stuff, thought Griff to himself as
he continued in the direction of the returning voice.
His mind played a simple pirate tune over in his head. It was not overtly pirate, only those who were a pirate themselves or knew ones well enough would know the tune. Jedi would not know it and if they did then there was no way they could jump to a conclusion... in any case if they did recognise it at least his imperial position would not be compromised. He didn't even notice that he was actually whistling it aloud too. "Ahh so I am not in here alone," answered Griff. He could now see a faint shape in the distance, it was most definitely female though. This was when he stopped himself "Ahh, I can't really see you there, would you mind coming closer? Don't mind the pistol, it was just a precaution for if you were actually some sort of beasty and not a person." Noticing the shape of a pistol in the person's hand he gave a slight laugh, "I see you are equally prepared. Are you expecting enemies in such a place as this? You had to be tracking my voice to me right? I only heard your feet." Griff did not know if the invasion had started yet, this might provide an answer.. |

Any questions?" Plakhmirakh would be with the group, investigating the caves, and as such was prepared for any eventuality. Camouflage wouldn't be incredibly easy for any of the others, but a Noghri would hide well when a group of red-armoured men were walking down the center of the maze. Plakhmirakh would be able to get away with his standard-preparation uniform, as there were no unusual circumstances to be aware of, and he would be able to respond to chemical solutions with his own breathing apparatus. There was one question that was nudging him, though. "Sir, I'm just wondering whether we are expecting any resistance in the caves," he asked. |

Well, Nik had his orders. The village was the objective and it was all he cared about. There had been a lot of backstage work to get
the Black Dogs up and running again, apparently the political battle to bring them up again was a huge shitstorm. Here he was though, leading a special unit
specifically equipped to take out any Force using threat. This was the squad's "maiden voyage" onto the field, and Nik hoped by the Emperor that
he didn't screw this up.
"Alright Black Dogs, we have our orders, but just in case any of you sorry sacks of wampa %+*$ dozed off, our mission is to secure the village. Once the village is ours we move to the Great Library to clean up what the others have done. I trust you have all gotten your own custom equipment for this, we need anti Force user technology. These are jedi, so there may be chances to avoid some senseless fighting, but I expect yo see your fingers on the triggers at all times. I want all of you to be combat ready by touchdown. Here is the section of the planetary map relevant to us." with that, Nik uploaded the village and library maps to the squad for them to view as an overlay on their visors. As he did this he realized he was lucky to be on the side with all the tech, lots of stuff other people couldn't get a hold of. Sevrek had gotten up and walked away from the squad sitting together, off to talk to a familiar looking stormtrooper. To busy himself while the squad did whatever they wished to get ready, Nik hefted his large, multi-barreled slugthrower onto his lap to inspect it. After seeing a demonstration of what this could do, it was gonna be hard to go back to blaster rifles after this mission... |

Hawk sat in meditative silence within his cell, shut away behind an energy shield with two guards standing outside. The shackles he wore were supposed to
prevent him from using the force to escape, but of course they had been constructed by those who knew nothing of the true nature of the force. As it was
though, the Jedi Master was more than happy to allow the Imperials their quaint security measures to contain him as escape was not currently on his mind.
From his meditations he had seen that the Imperial war machine was getting ready for action, though as of yet he was uncertain of where they would strike. The fact that they were bringing him along however did not bode well for the Jedi. Having seen a new side to the Empire during the Sith attack on Naboo, Hawk had hoped to enter negotiations with them, believing that if the Jedi could work with the Empire than they could stay its heavy handed approach and gradually see if become a new Republic. Such hopes however would never be actualized with a Sith sitting on the Imperial throne, and so Hawk's hopes for negotiations had ended prematurely. The Jedi wasn't sure now if the good he sensed in the Empire was actually there, or in fact a fabrication of his own hope for peace. If there was any good in the heirarchy of the Empire than he had to try and reach it and liberate it from the Emperor's dark grasp. |

Wait a minute. She'd know that voice anywhere. So combined with his silhouette, she was sure. "Griff? What are you doing here?", she demanded. "I'm the one that searches for crystals. Don't you have a real job with the Empire?" Then she thought to shine her keylight up on her face so he would see that it was Scarlett. She was now only a couple meters away from him, so he had better answer her questions, though she wouldn't answer the ones he just asked. "C'mon. Let's get to my ship before anyone sees you here. There are Jedi about." Grabbing his hand, she led him out the way she had come in, forgetting that she claimed she was lost. She would give him a ride to his ship, and they would go their separate ways after that. Not long after, she was in hyperdrive to head back to Naboo.

Imperial Diplomat Conference Room
His skin crawled, Avadreia's comment getting very much on his nerves as they often did and were designed to do. Still, though, with the frequent exposure and practice, Gren didn't cringe half as much as he used to. Really, there was virtually no response at all. He simply withdrew his handheld computer from his coat pocket, indicating his fading interest in the matters at hand. "Of course, Moff LAH-KWAH. I wouldn't dream of it." She asked if they had any concerns. Gren had one. Tapping away at his handheld, he drew up supporting information before making it known. "Just a small one. What of that Hinata fellow we've had floating about various jailors?" |

Avadreia raised an eyebrow. "Hinata?" she echoed coldly, looking around the room. "To the best of my knowledge, he's still in custody, though I haven't got up-to-the-minute information regarding him.
Now, if we can move onto the matter at hand. Since no one has raised concerns, I'll note that this proposition has passed with the unanimous consent of the
Moff Council. Thank you."
The Moff turned and went to the communications console. She typed in a three-digit code and waited for the call to go through. Finally she said, "Admiral Disra, this is Moff Lacroix. The Moff Council has authorized contingency plan four five one. Repeat, commence contingency plan four-fifty-one." |

Akabus vocally vomited verbs of such extreme and exciting explicitness that made several other troopers nearby raise eyebrows and encourage him to excersise if
he was feeling the pre-battle nerves.
Hearing Zarr's hearty voice bark over his commpiece, he remembered that there was something else to do on his list today apart from "Aquire Ysenna Sith Mask in bloody swathes of glorious fighting" and "Let the Ysalimiri out". Quickly locating and putting on his helmet and visor, he was treated to a glowing display of the targetted positions down on Ossus surface below, a display that was held for members of the Black Dogs squad only. Finishing his flamboyant vocal flourish with a few choice nouns as he struggled fixing his audio feed, he quickly drank in the knowledge being imparted to him remotely into his helmet visor and cursed himself for managing to end up on a completely different ship to his squad mates, and resolved to get into the same deployment zone as them, even if it meant breaking a few protocols here and there. The Dog's beginning had been sketchy enough without one of their newest recruits completely missing a military hot drop onto what would probably be a hostile battlezone. In order to remind him of his first service in the squad, he had even put on his lucky Corellian Canoid boxer shorts this morning. Frak. |

"If you'll excuse me" he said to his fellow Jedi and began walking off down the hall. retrieving his comm link from his belt he ordered extra
security to be placed around the temple and also ordered some patrols to be sent to the outlying areas.
The foreboding feeling stil hung in the back of his mind. What exactly it was he was unsure of, but he knew it would be bad. |

" And that is how it's done." he added as the training droid's head came off from his
strike with the saber " It's all in the wrist darling." he continued as he clipped his
saber back to his belt
He came here as a natural part of his training. If Jaden was to become a Jedi Knight he had to go through all of the Jedi lore. But the padawan got bored fast of reading. The library was fairly empty so when he started walking. When he met a female padawan sparring with a training droid he jumped right in. By now he was pretty good with the saber and did quick work of the droid. But the woman did not seem impressed with either his moves or his words. "Uhum. Yeah.... interesting. Now if you'll excuse me I have to go read up on something. Have a good day." she said with a cold tone walking off " Uh..all this Jedi training. I hop this doesn't mean I'm loosing my touch." he said to himself He returned to reading his lectures. After a couple of hours he finished what he set out to read and realised for the time being he had nothing to do. His ship was a bit banged up and was still being fixed so he could not return to Naboo right away. So he decided to go for a walk outside. He wasn't sure exactly where he was going but the air was cool and the wind was blowing, which made for the perfect atmosphere to reflect. |
