Nah. Just the usual white + male + flirt with the dark side = character lucasfilm is comfortable with. He's just another beatstick for another imperial
officer/dark sider of the week badguy.

Kyle has snark, which puts him infinitely above Luke/Anakin/Galen/(usually) Revan in my book. I prefer characters with a bit of wit to them, which the standard
Lucasfilm formula tends to reserve for Han Solos and Atton Rands.
Jedi Academy was fun, despite the general awkwardness of the camera. It had Jennifer Hale. I see no problem here. |

Yeah, but Hale gave the most generic valley girl accent recording possible.

Dont forget Jolee Bindo now. Another of my favorites.
"Ah, and it makes you think I may have the taint of the dark side in me, doesn't it? Ooooh. Is that what you are wondering, huh? Ooooh." |

Heh I don't mind Jolee. He got on my nerves a bit with his 'I'm old, therefore put up with my crap' attitude, but on the whole he was alright.
Though Kreia was the superior character.

*Slaps Jessan* NO! Bad Stuie! Kreia was an annoying character!

Kreia was a hit-or-miss character. Some people, like Jessan and Ayden, like her and consider her a great character. Some, like Kali, can't stand her.
I'm of the third camp, which liked her up until the last hour of the game. Her lessons were deep, her counsel was wonderful, and her story was
intriguing...but her actions made very little sense. I remember coming out of the ending credits still going
".....HUH?!"

That's the common reaction playing KOTOR2. The ending was so disjointed and messy that it made no sense.

At least it's more conclusive than some other Bioware games. *eyes Jade Empire meaningfully*

I got Dark Forces, Dark Forces II, Mysteries of the Sith, Jedi Outcast, and Jedi Academy.

Yeah...Kreia was very annoying.

Yes, I found it hard to follow her advice. If I do something Dark Side, she says "Why do you kill for no reason?" If you do Light Side, you get
"By helping them, you only make them weak."

Heh, yeah she was pretty frustrating at times, but I found the dialogue with her to be gems amongst the game, and it was refreshing that she came forward with
a different philosophy, that the Force was to blame for the constant wars between the sith and the jedi that hurt the galaxy.

Go team Revan!

She was insightful. And not to mention she taught Revan, which elevates her in my book.

There is a pretty nice deal on Steam at the moment, which includes the Jedi Academy / Knight games along with KOTOR and a load of other Lucas Arts titles. Very
tempting!

I bought KotOR off of them for the $10. Then as I get off of Taris, I'm thinking to myself oO(Why the hell did I buy this game? I've played it that
many times already!)

Heheh I bought it off steam too, but I had that thought when I was back at the Star Forge.
