Legs dangling as Rhan kept himself upright, head arched back to view the night sky above him. The stars did not show this night, nor the last five nights that Rhan was here, it was the clouds always obscuring his view of the night sky. But he admired the sky regardless of its missing beauty, it was enough to fill him with some emotion of detachment of the world around him as he leaned forward to rest his head on his hands. Rhan kept himself still as he peered below him, crowds of people moving along their own business during another busy night of the market. Everyone milling around, citizens blissfully unaware of the greater galaxy around them. rhan easily lost himself of watching all of them down at the market. Chatter of the crowd resonated a low ambience, almost a fitting backdrop of sound for this rather boring night.
Falling back, he landed with a soft thud on the roof as he grew tired of just watching the crowd beneath him. His holocommunicator vibrated on his leg, making its third feeble attempt to remind Rhan that he had a certain engagement that needed him to attend. Groaning as his fingers slid over part of his revealed face and through his white hair as he slowly sat back up. Thoughts emerged that push him off the ledge, his wings expanded in brilliant display for anyone beneath him to take notice. Thoughts of determination filled his head as he gently coasted down before retracting his wings back as he fell the rest of the way down for no more than a second and landed with a louder thump. Some people reeled away from his spot, giving him a varied response of interest or annoyance, Rhan quickly dusted his knees as he moved through the crowd and ignoring their reactions to his sudden appearance.
Ah I guess the wedding is something I shouldn’t miss, might save me a headache or two down the road Rhan mused wearily as he continued walking. His arms outstretched as he yawned at the idea of sitting through another festive event he would rather not partake. In which he was sure it would satisfy multiple parties if he did not show, but the one party that would be angry was the only party that mattered. With my current level of popularity of with the both of them I guess it wouldn’t be smart if I missed this one the thought rolled in the gears of his mind. He had time to make it there early enough, show himself enough and perhaps he mused to himself that he could leave early. Like around or even before she walks down the aisle Rhan thought, a mischievous smile haunted his lips.
