I was looking for 2 guys jumping cars, running from the cops, good driving, funny scenes, and thier big titted cousin. So that movie met all my expectations and i enjoyed it. I also never saw to many of the original episodes or was that serious of a fan to care if it was loyal to the series.

War of the Worlds
Batman was just plain wrong. First, it's colossally over-rated, and second, it looks totally generic. You could have put the name of almost any other director in the credits and nobodyw ould have known otherwise. Nolan is over-rated to the highest degree. Memento was fun because of rhe gimmick, but that's about it. Batman is just another superhero movie, except this one doesn't have any superheroes. My condolences go out to the camera operator for having an epilleptic seizure while filming the action scenes. |

Batman Begins was liked because it was down to Earth. At least it didn't have the bash-em-up fight scenes of Spiderman 2.

Explain what you mean by "bash-em-up fight scenes". Because in Spiderman 2, all I saw were good action scenes that explored conflict in all 3 dimensions, inter-personal, extra-personal, and intra-personal. So go ahead, I'm waiting.

I saw fight scenes with two characters who thoughtlessly destroyed walls of buildings, trains, clock towers, cafes, docks, and banks.
I saw fight scenes where, as much stuff was thrown at Spiderman, or as many times as he was hit, he took no recoil. I saw a movie where Spiderman was manhandled on a subway. I saw a movie that went nowhere with a love story between Peter Parker and Mary Jane that was ultimately settled by a dubious decision - M.J. found out that Parker was Spiderman. How lame - "I love you Peter. I hate you Peter. I love you Peter. I have you Peter. Can you love me Peter? OH! YOU'RE Spiderman! Oh, it's ok. I'll let you go but stare at you willingly as you leave so everyone will know that this pointless love story will be continued in another sequel. Toodles!" I saw a movie where Doc Ock's wife was killed. He had a slight reaction at first but didn't give a shit throughout the rest of the movie. He didn't even care at his redemption at the end. I saw a movie where Peter explained how he was indirectly responsible for Uncle Ben's death. A slight reaction at first from Aunt May, but overall, she didn't give a shit. Peter ran away from Aunt May in the bank when Doc Ock attacked in order to secretly put on his Spidey outfit. Did Aunt May call on it later? Nope. |

That's funny, because I saw the same movie, but not what you mentioned.
Perhaps you should view it again and realize that it's one of the best-written films of 2004. |

Sin City is in the same boat as Spiderman 2 in my book.
They're all those shitty movies that everyone loved, but are crap. Like the Shreks. |

Dukes of Hazard sucked for one reason - the little wretch they casted for Daisy Duke. In the original series, Daisy Duke was not as sexed up as the over sexed, Jessica Simpson.
