lol, Aru basing his opinion upon a loaded question. Because you always know there's a bomb, you know you have a prime suspect who
knows where it is and you know the information you get is genuine and not a ruse. So many certainties.
But hey, why stop there? Lets get a suspects wife and torture her in front of him. Or his children as well, or any friend, or relative. Hey, how about throwing his wife into a room full of serial rapists until he talks - or his daughter even, or his son. Or maybe even his elders or other relatives as well. No price is too great. |

It's a different era. Back four decades, children wouldn't undermine their parents/adults so easily. Kids need to know that their back talking, their
cursing will not be tolerated. Hell, if a kid were to use a curse word, their mouth would've been scrubbed out with a soap bar. Kids get away with so much,
because they believe they have these :liberties" to do what they want, when they want. The dumbest thing I always hear children say whenever they do
something bad is "It's a free country."
Kids need to know that their actions will get them in trouble. Hell, here's the thing; kids will be kids, but when they do bad crap, there has to be a more severe punishment for them. I'd like nothing more then to slap a little teenager around the head, getting them into the right shape. But really, it's not hard to stay out of trouble. This isn't too difficult.

Why should international law affect how we interpret OUR constitution? Its our constitution not theres so why should they interpret it for us and we use their
interpretation...

And the interpretation of the constitution is that torture is illegal. Everybody says torture is illegal.
And Arum, before you come back in and say, "Oshama is the only president who says torture is bad," you're wrong. Even Bush didn't want suspects to be tortured. Now, with waterboarding illegal, it shows that we were the bad guys too. Guantanamo was a mess, and I, for one, am ashamed of what certain people did to our country. By doing that, it shows we're no better then the very guys who we attack.

I think that about a lot of studies.
Mind you, when I get depressed, I often get angry too, and when I get angry, there's nothing I enjoy more than a intense run or hardcore workout. |
