The resorts many lights cast shimmering reflections on the ever changing tides caressing the sandy white beaches leading up to the resorts doors. A private ferry had been provided to bring guests to those very doors tonight. The entrance hall had been draped in velvet royal blue carpets, complete with silver embellishments to impose an impressive welcome to tonight's guests. Tall aquariums lined the floors and ceilings, pulling visitors into the illusion of underwater magnificence. Each tank was filled with the ocean plants diverse and colorful aquatic life, providing a sea of dancing rainbows to cushion the entrance of visitors. The soft velvet blue carpet flowed as softly as the water surrounding the resort, leading guests through its doors and into wide decorated ballroom. Dark blue orbs hung from the ceiling, casting illuminating auras to mix with the calming music the orchestra was playing. Off to the right a delicate pearl staircase lead guests to the second level of the resort where a coral bar stood open and waiting. More polished pearl stairs led to a balcony overlooking the breathtaking oceans cushioning the water planet. From the balcony a softly lit pier spanned out over the ocean, allowing guests the opportunity for rare sea front escape under the Velusian sky. A trickling fountain pool cast its beauty upon the pier, complete with several small white tents to enjoy a drink under. Disguised of course each would be in disguise as Bane was now but he would know most but .. oh well his mind began to drift as he watched the oceans and plantlife below. His eyes darted across the water towards a creature in the water. Rach said it would be a surprise what her costume would be this year and now he would just have to wait to find out.

"Remy," she feigned, her hands up in a fluster, "I cannot find that earring." I have to find it. That intricate gold adornment. Anesia sighed, tucking stray chocolate curls behind her ear. The rest aloof and pinned to the top of her pretty head, like some Victorian fashionista. That saying, it left the pale column that was her neck exposed. She sat at the vanity, slender hands coming to rest at her bare thighs. For Heaven's sake, she was not even dressed yet, or completely. Velusia's lights, it's vivid night scene played in from the liner's windows. It really was beautiful. All the violets, pinks and yellows. Little to no make-up adorned her face, save the mistress' very played up eyes and glossed pout. Anesia stood, thin digits roaming over the soft purple fabric of her dress, then tracing the gold mask. Saffron light cascaded over her features, illuminating an already perfect visage. "Anesia," came a dark velvet voice from behind, tickling her with his breath and the slight movement of the baby hairs at the nape of her neck. One hand came, swiping around his neck, putting her elbow in the air. The lady groaned pleasantly, "Must you be so wicked," she chortled, "and delicious?" Turning, her hands splayed at his wide shoulders, over the suit he was wearing. While the trendy attire was debonair, she knew what filled it out underneath and made it that much more modish. She leaned in, leaving glossy evidence upon his lips. While he was busy feasting and licking his mouth clean, she exclaimed, "Ah ha!" The earring. She plucked it from his collar and went for the vanity again. Sinking it in to the small hold in her earlobe. The Grand Aqua Palace was slowly coming in to view, she noted as more oranges and blues became the predominate view. Enchanting. Picturesque. Splendid. Adept digits strolled her curved before removing the dress from its silken hanger. "Darling..." Anesia giggled, "might you be a gentleman now and help me into to this contraption?" He nodded, movements flowing, sure... oh so very Remy Gray, the alchemical sith lord. After offering the garment to him, he knelt, gathering the fabric while she held his shoulders and stepped into the small circle of violet he had made. It was slow in the coming as he darted behind her, pulling it up, then clasping together the very low back line. By very low that meant it settled just above her derrière. The dress was provocative and classy. It was hard to mix those to definitions together. Royal purple with a slit that very well traveled way past mid thigh, a neckline that plunged and merely pushed up and exposed ample breasts, with practically no back at all and sleeves that hung from delicate shoulders. Anesia fingered the mask, turned and even gave a slight bow to her date for the evening. The heels of course had been on- it was likely because Remy had said it made her legs look endless. They were strappy, a darker violet with accents of gold swirling about the top and the thin ankle straps. "I believe we are ready to dock," Remy said leisurely, wrapping a sinewy arm about her waist. His magic beyond words. The strapping sith master was doing that very thing (docking) with out even being at the controls. He never ceased to amaze her. "You'll be lucky to make it the whole night if you keep looking at me that way," she purred, running a finger along his impeccable jawline. Thankfully there was nobody being announced, those parties were such a bore. No, this was a true masquerade and one to be enjoyed. She was certain that no other would recognize her, and she hoped that was the case. Shay had gone to great lengths to make sure as such. Meric would probably feel her out and that was her game. "Find me," Shay had told her fiance. "And I'll not step from your side all night... unless nature calls of course." She had even gone through the trouble of having her wings dyed a different color. Her costume was not overly much, even by her straight line standards, but it was admittedly beautiful. Oh yes, Meric was going to love it. Now if only he would show up.

Posts: 556 (09/01/09 10:28) Sith Master Darth Locura Cannibal Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Meric was there, he was just a bit preoccupied with figuring out how to get something to drink without taking off his mask. It seemed a difficult prospect, but in the end he made a breathing hole in the mask around his lips so that he could get liquid through when he wanted to drink. It also made it quite a bit easier to breath than not having the opening did. With a happy sigh he downed some of the punch, which he sincerely hoped was spiked, and then turned around to look around. There were already quite a few people there and he had no idea where Shay was. Knowing she was there made it slightly easier. He just had to locate her. Visually, that shouldn't have been hard, but there were a few other winged species in attendance at the ball and he didn't see anyone with Shay's normal wing color. Absentmindedly, he stroked the chin of his mask as he perused the whole place before he walked around and found a high point where he could look about. From his vantage point he could see over everyone's head. Focusing on the female winged people, he started probing. He probed them all and smiled as he walked back down the stairs and over through the crowd. He went to where he'd spotted her, but she wasn't there anymore, likely having moved. Following a hunch, he moved off until he found her again. She was wearing a beautiful yellow dress which, oddly enough, matched the red and black robes that he was wearing as it had a weird sort of complementary effect. "Hello, gorgeous. You look fantastic, Shay."

The Masquerade Ball invitations had arrived late, but she had known the event was coming up. Almost everyone was talking about it so it was hard not to get sucked into the lime light. The young blond girl had asked her new best friend if he would attend with her. Well to be more exact she had simply told him he was going with her. He hadn't objected and Bella suspected he was starting to realize she was a leader not a follower. Many people felt uncomfortable around Bella. She was new to the Sith academy but her bizarre forms of dress and behavior usually kept people from introducing themselelves. Tonight however Bella looked moderately normal. Her dress fell off her slender shoulders and cascaded in beautiful white and gold to match her skin tone. The mask she had chosen had gold embeleshments in it, and pink feathers just to add a little bit of flavor. When she completed the outfit with a cute updo hairstyle she looked positivly gorgoues. The young woman was pretty for sure, when she chose to be. Most of the time it was easy to spot her in some off color garment that offended more than it attracted people. Tonight however she was actually trying to look pretty. The problem was she felt nervous at her plain appearance. She was fidgiting with her dress when she heard her friend in the other room. Taking one last look in the mirror she called out the nickname she had given him. "Oli?" Hopefully he'd like her dress. She wasn't exactly sure why she wanted him to like her dress. She just knew that his opinion tonight mattered for some strange reason. Usually Bella could care less about opinons. It was a strange feeling. "I'm in the bedroom." She called for him to join her.

A hard luck woman Raine had been and that would have been alright, she would have been fine - alone, without Diesel - and somehow that thought now had only angered her. It broke her heart. They had made such a pretty pair. Golden silk blanketed against etched skin, causing the bronze flesh to tingle in waves of chill with the sway of fabric. The dress had been designed especially for the Pasha of Ziost; Raine fought desperately hard to keep it clandestine from her mate as she wanted it to be a surprise. The jeweled pumps clasped neatly about her ankles, adding a bit more height to the vertically challenged teen. After all, Diesel had been impeccably taller than she. Fingers traipsed through the thicket of ebon and blonde, dancing the strands into delicate curls pinned about the crown of her head. She had never been one for such soirees, but there had never been a missed chance to show off her adored. "Diesel, darling... my devil... are you ready yet?" Alluring, her voice trickled through their room as she pondering if he had been ready yet or not. Between the pair, Raine was usually more fashionably late.

With her husband now home again the bed had seemed more inviting. During his absence she had spent all her nights at the temple. The lonsem bed and haunted walls were just to loud to come home to everynight. Now that James was back in her life Kat had tried her hardest to get as much time at home as she possibly could. Both she and James were busy with the Jedi Council however. James had wasted no time getting back into the swing of things, and Katarine had her own duties to attend to as well. Tonights ball however would provide a little welcomed relaxation for both of them. Katarine was looking forward to spending the entire evening with her husband... though she knew he wasn't going to be to happy with her when he got home. She had left early to get ready for the ball, but the long flowing white dress she had chosen to wear, and the lace trimmed mask, were still hanging in the closet. In those beautiful white clothes Katarine would look like an angel, but right now she looked quite the opposite. She heard the door open of the little home and grinned to herself. Her husbands boots were heard in the living room. He didn't need as much time to get ready so he hadn't left his work quite as early as she had. Unfortunately even in his usual pirate vest ansombo he was still more dressed then Katarine was. She'd started the dressing process, but after putting on her pretty white under garments she'd decided against putting the dress on. The soft fabric would find it's way onto her flesh tonight she imagined, but she had other ideas first. The movement from the livingroom entered the hallway and paused. Katarine knew him well enough to know he was looking to see if she was in the small hallway bathroom. The hesitation was only momentary before his noises were right outside the bedroom door. The small door opened and in walked her beautiful blond hero. The man of her dreams in every way imaginable, and if she closely enough she suspected she'd see the lop sided grin that made her heart melt. If he looked at her face however he wouldn't see any grin, or any beautiful clad woman waiting for a complement on her dress. James would see his wife laying bare in his bed with a look on her face that made one thing very obvious, The Terrans were going to be late to the ball tonight.

Whom ever had designed the Masquerade Ball was trying to hard to impress, though some of the more self rightous patrons would no doubt think it was enough opulence. Samara would have much rather stayed home in something comfortable if not for her daughter who had her arm through hers. The black silk dress contrasted nicely with her pale skin, lips a deep red. A pink blush spread across her cheeks when she caught the luring gaze of one of the male attendees. Her embarrassment quickly turned to anger though when she noticed the vulgar stare was not aimed at her but at Esme. She shoot the guy a dangerous scowl before moving her hand around her daughter's waist and turning her to a table on the other side of the room. She really wished Gabriel was here. Her husband would no doubt have dismembered the guy in a dark corner for looking at his little girl. Then again there was a reason for Esme attendance that made it a good thing her father was not here. She they walked she turned her lips close to her left ear to speak. "I don't suppose I can convince you to ditch this boy so we can leave?"

She'd noticed the stares to but had merely brush them off while fluffing out her crimson dress. She pulled her gold mask off and smile up at her mother. "You know I won't do that mom. Besides, not all of the stares were aimed at me." Esme said as she sat down and took in the classic beauty of her other. She'd always been jealous of the woman's ivory skin. Feeling that she has sufficiently placated Samara, Esme began to look around curious among the crowd. As just as she loved spending time with her mother it was Braiden that she really wanted to be with tonight. It had been a month since she last seen the smuggler and she was dying to have another hit of her personal drug.

Yeah, sure, he hadn't been able to find a date, it didn't really bother him. Leaning against the railing of the ferry as it docked, he watched the other passengers mingle and find their respective partners. Taking a step with some bounce in it Kala bounded down the ramp and onto the lawns of the event. Smiling at his mistake, he quickly secured his mask then entered the hall. For Kala, it wasn't about having some one on his arm all the time. Sometimes a guy had to step out and do his own thing. And who knew? With his bright blue eyes and crisp uniform like costume, this night might still have some fun in it.

This year would be quite a different costume. The long extensions were put in her hair as her hairdresser sat with her and the ardrourous task of making sure the extensions stuck and then the strands covering her cleavage, being unsuspiciously glued so that the nipples would not be visible. The dark, long and pink locks cascaded with a hint of curl. What she'd worn on bottom was a long skirt that reached down to her ankles and matched the colour of her hair. On her pierced ears, she adorned large, silver hoops. On her feet, were heeled, strapped sandals that matched the colour of her jewlery. The hair artist also worked on her makeup, which looked quite glam. When it was all done, she looked in the mirror. Not bad for someone my age, she commented to herself quietly. Poor Bane was waiting as usual, paitent as always. She came up from behind him quietly and put her hands over his eyes before kissing his neck. "Are we ready to go, sweetheart?"

Had he been traipsing about the ship with that on him for the past twenty minutes? The Sith Lord had only left her after much recreation to put the finishing touches on his mask. Leave it to Remy Gray to have a Sith forge brought on board Anesia's vessel. "You look otherworldly." he spoke deliberately, eyes holding her from leaving the room. Already his arm, the one bearing a priceless mask, tangled itself about the mistress' narrow waist. It was only when his lips hovered but millimeters from her own that he stopped himself. Even her scent managed to disable his capacity for coherent thought. The masquerade, right. He grinned a devilish grin, in his own hellish element. "Lord Gray, the transport vessel has arrived. We're moored just offshore." a voice came from the door. "At ease." he replied, gaze unshifting. He could sense the being retreating. \|\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\| The in-between time of twilight cast a mythic pall over the bay. Anesia had already asserted herself on the couch in the back of the luxury craft, her form melting into Remy's seated posture. He could feel the slight shift in her body as she breathed and, with her surrounded by the beautiful aquatic nightscape, he felt compelled to steal a few sidelong glances. Clearing his throat after she caught his last peak, he nodded to the palace up ahead. "Almost there." he said with a wry turn of his lips, admitting amused defeat. A slight crease appeared between Remy's brows on the heels of his last comment. This gathering would bring together many strange folk across the galaxy. While only a relative few received invitations, this exclusivity in no way reflected upon the characters of those attending. How droll an evening surrounded by Jedi might be. Even a number of the Sith were intolerable to Lord Gray, their presence as bothersome as cutlery on porcelain. He assumed Anesia would know a few people worth sharing a drink with but he still doubted the opportunity for worthy company. She was, though. He chuckled as she caught another one of his glances, jumping to his feet before should could make a comment on his adolescent behavior. The craft pulled up and nestled alongside a small dock farther down from where the ferry was scooting backing and forth. Who would bare the torture of mass transit on such a thing, Remy couldn't imagine. He moved to the dock, indifferent to the twisting way in which mild waves turned the deck. "A palace, this is not." Remy extended a hand to Anesia, "But it has the impression of being serviceable."

Katarine would be waiting for him, ready to go to the ball, or so he thought. She had left the temple earlier than he had. The Knight had recently taken up two Students of his own, the first within his life though he, himself, had not stayed at the temple. He had left early, having to run an errand that Katarine knew nothing about. There were expectations that James now understood, felt that Katarine held. When he took a step back and observed marriages within the Jedi Order, everyone seemed focused on themselves. In the vast majority of their daily lives, individuals forming a united couple seemed to only think of themselves and when the time did arise to think of their companion, they often went overboard, outlandish and came off as baboons. James just could not do that. He had to be different and in his time back, he alloted himself the chance to step back and observe the vessel that was his mate, the vessel that was his wife. Katarine was very much the flower he new her as. Delicate, graceful, beautiful. She was what most men wanted in a woman. She could be submissive at times while dominate in others. She held authority, spunk, and had a quick tongue. Yet in all of that, he had a better understanding of what she wanted in her mate. In his time back, James had thought of what he once was to her and what he still wanted to become for her. James was on a quest for self-improvement. A better understanding of the light side, his purpose within it, himself and his wife. He took vows with Katarine, do to what was necessary for her and those were vows he would not forget. He entered through the door to their home, and began to make his way down the hall. Terran only momentarily paused at the bathroom, checking to see if Katarine was in before heading to the bedroom, the door shut. His eyes immediately shot to the bed, the crooked grin sliding across his face yet the expression Katarine held was one he had not seen in such a very long time. His hand shifted, hiding something on the backside, preventing Mrs. Terran from seeing. Katarine had weeped, had laughed, shared her deepest emotions with James. They had experienced the greatest joys and the deepest of heartaches with each other and in all his time with her, he knew every expression Katarine could hold. Some were far more common than others and the one she held, the one that looked upon him, was one that struck his deepest cords. The expression held no grin nor frown. Her face was stone but her eyes told the story. The part of Katarine, the part only James knew of, the Alphess was ready to play. With a swift movement of his left foot, James slammed the door shut. Cautiously he approached the bed and immediately felt the force upon him. Katarine, with no movements what so ever, still in his stone like stature, removed James vest, boots, pants and belt was he approached. A skill she had mastered with him and a skill he was now use too, capable of continuing his pace while being undressed. Her expression continued, though it looked like nothing, that was absolute love. The Alphess would be claiming her Mate, ensuring that he was marked. James was Katarines territory and only her territory. This was the expression that James treasured and loved to see. She wanted him and his skin flushed knowing this fact. She wanted him and no one else. Each time they had been intimate since his return, it was all special but it had been readjusting to the other, as if both were holding back in some fashion. The way she conducted herself, she held herself in the bed, Mr and Mrs Terran would be truly one. Readjustment periods were over. It was now or never and it would most assuridly be now. The husband had done all he could to subtly reprove himself to his wife and it appeared he impressed his mate. He brought one knee upon the bed, pushing himself up and lifting the other knee, though his eyes remained locked with Katarines own, her gaze, her expression. She had put up with every stunt Terran had pulled. From a sarcastic Padawan to at times being the husband she could have strangled himself for the dangers he got into but through it all, through everything, she had stayed by his side. He had never forgotten. Slowly, he shifted the object that he had hid on the backside of his hand, a black velvet box which held a necklace. "I've been saving ever since I returned. I'd never gotten you anything nice before, anything that truly expressed how I feel and I thought..." it was probably best to not ruin the mood with explanations, he motioned to the box, "that is for you." Katarine was so radiant and taking this small window, in which he knew that he caught her by surprise, Terran leant in and began a light nibble of her collar bone, all while she opened the box to take a look at what her husband had gotten her. Betwixt and in between, Darla could not afford to lose her barrings upon this eve; she had been scooped up in the man known as Dhani Marzullo and at the chance of attending such a prominent gala upon his arm, it had only made it much more difficult for the young girl to resist. For endless autumn nights, sleep was lost to the nothingness as her thoughts had been consumed, devoured, by scenarios of this eventide. Goosebumps lined bare arms as fingers had become wreathed together, her body instinctively nestled to his own. Warmth lined the side of her corset where his body collided against hers - Darla felt feverish and faint all in a fell swoop. Indigo oculars sparked with wild excitement as they swept into a lateral glance toward her Marzullo companion. With a soft serenity, blue eyes marveled over the man before her. Dhani had been everything she wanted, dreamed and waited for. There was brilliancy, there was fire. It burned her deep, it scorched her in drowsy decay. Chiffon ruffled as knees buckled, her body becoming absently aware of the dress which entombed her lithe form. Inhaling sharp and swift, the young girl forced herself to break the ties of her eye-line, but to no avail... they could not break the gallop they fell asunder upon the Marzullo's form. Violated. Emotions convulsed as painful reality scoured the demure female; Dhani invaded her inner self with immense and undying devotion - she strangled such beast within, fighting for her right to keep such things at bay. Failure. It was all a rouse to protect her heart from him. In unnameable ways, he touched her, soaked her with a concoction of a contact high which there had been no cure.

Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	The prettiest girl at the ball - Esme... oh and her mommy ;- ) Strong young arms leaned against the coral bar on the second floor of the Aqua Palace. Only in it's early stages the bar was serving just a few cocktails, but the boy knew that soon thirsts would run high. It wasn't a party without a drink. He himself fancied one, but he had held his temptations aside. It had been a long time since he had met Esme's mother and there hadn't been much time for conversation. Although he wasn't sure what was between him and Esme he did know their friendship was changing and having her mother think he was a drunk wouldn't be a good start to the change. That being said her mother was also highly capable of kicking his ass. A lopsided grin flashed across his young lips at that thought. He could probably do with a good ass kicking now and then. His life for the past month had not been an easy one. He'd spent most of it getting tangled up in affairs he did not want to be tangled up in, but that was the price of moving illegal goods. Now that he was back on Velusia he hopped to reconnect with some friends he had made and gain more skills. That would wait until after the ball however. What he really wanted now was Esme. He had felt her come in, though he had really tried not to. Being the son of two Jedi was nerve racking for Braiden. He was far from trained but his raw talent kept the annoying tidbits of the Force from being silent. He smoothed out his tux and took a nervous breath. He'd never really dressed up before, but tonight he had went all out to try and impress not really Esme, but her mother. Esme had seen him in the garage with grease all over him and still she had talked to him. Still being good looking tonight couldn't hurt. He'd even brushed his hair, though it was as shaggy as ever and fell in his face a lot. The simple white mask he wore helped that a little, and his green eyes defiantly stood out under the pale white. He had thought he looked pretty good in his ship, but now that he was here he was nervous. "Time for a drink son?" The bartender asked. He'd been standing there for some time after all. Braiden laughed and shook his head. "Time to go get the girl." He pushed off of the bar and headed down the steps. It wasn't hard to recognize Esme. She stood out in a sea of people to Braiden. The woman on her arm must be her mother. Braiden didn't remember what she looked like until now. "Full speed, lads!" the man trilled out into the setting sun. Zoom out to see Marcus standing at the very bow of his massive yacht, held down by zipcords. Camera follows the water and wind as they sail over Marcus' shoulder to splash directly onto the windows of the cockpit. A few very green looking pirate cadets stood at the helm, wearing party hats. Several beer bottles clunked around on the floor as the entire yacht thrashed about in the open seas of Velusia. Traveling on water was much more chaotic and jolting than traveling in space. Unless of course you were on Marcus' vessel, whatever it may be at the time. Then you were in for a head-spinning ride, but THC soothes nausea reeeaaal good. The yacht pulled into the sun drenched bay around mid day of the masquerade. Glistening in a fresh coat of sea spray, the decks were quickly filled with the courtesans and aristocrats of Velusia: outlaws. Kegs, sunbathing wenches, and contraband littered the pearly white ground. Gandge, resident rockstar, seemed to have been caught in a wave of indecision between fully rigging the stage or just sitting around with his guitar. Sometimes there was music sometimes not. Lots of money changed hands that day and a lot of strange things were ingested. God knows what Marcus took before his roundtrip on the bow, no one could figure what made him laugh so much as they untied his sopping wet body once they first made berth. Throughout the pregame early evening of debauchery, the captain hadn't once run into his dates for the evening. He suspected they were somewhere abouts on the massive yacht, which dwarfed most but military vessels. However, he couldn't have been sure where they were. "Keep the party going for when we gets ourselves back, savvy?" Marcus mentioned to the large group of people he was sharing drinks with, "Because you're all not invited to come to this. Very exclusive evening, it is. None of you can come. Especially you, Theodore." One particular pirate looked particularly sad.

They arrived together to the grandest event in the galaxy for that year. The Masquerade Ball. It was slightly intimidating. There were so many people that came to this. Members of all sides came together in a day of peace to relax and have a little fun. It was, in a sense, the perfect place for him to be with Darla. There would be no animosity towards their relationship. Even if his siblings found disdain in his choosing a Jedi for his girlfriend, they wouldn't voice it. Not here. Her hand in his. Her body pressed up against his. He in his tuxedo. A white mask affixed to his face around his eyes. He even wore contacts to change his eye color from red to blue to mask himself a little bit. It would make it slightly harder for people to identify him. His thumb brushed against her hand as he felt her weight shift a bit, but she caught herself. He could feel her looking at him and he turned his eyes to her and smiled. "You look beautiful, Darla. The Belle of the Ball." None could ever hope to look as beautiful as she. With a gentle nudge, he led her forward towards the crowd. There were many there already so they were able to blend in easily enough. But he didn't want to blend in and really, he couldn't. Darla would steal the show with all her beauty and it made him blush slightly that he was so lucky to have her with him. She was everything to him.

Her eyes welled up with tears almost at once as she opened the small black box containing a beautiful necklace. She felt his lips tickle her collar bone as a few of her tears fell down her cheeks. It was beautiful, and had been a surprise she hadn't seen coming at all. Sometimes the old pirate surprised her, and when he did it made her realize how lucky she was to have him back. The necklace was just a gift, but it was a gift she had given up hope on ever receiving. There were darker parts of last year in which the Jedi had convinced herself that he was gone forever. Her heart had never truly believed that, despite how hard she tried to convince her mind of it. Grieving for him would have been so much easier if her heart would have just accepted he was gone. Like James however her heart had surprised her too. It had been right. She sat the little black box containing her present down softly and pulled her husband away from her collar bone. Her lips sought his slowly, and not at all like she had planned to earlier. Instead of the strong tiger that had been waiting to pounce him she presented herself as a soft cuddly little fox ready to be pounced upon. It was amazing how one gesture from someone she loved so much could change her entire demeanor. As the ball started Katarine and her husband enjoyed their own private dance. Her motions were soft, loving, and following his lead. She let him have his way playfully and tenderly until she found herself curled up in his arms contently. If time never moved forward Katarine wouldn't miss it. Softly she kissed his chest and whispered words she had saved until now. "I love it. Thank you." They were simple and couldn't possibly express how happy she was to have him here with her. He was quite literally returned from the grave in her eyes and every moment with him seemed to be one more blessing she had never dreamed of obtaining. She tore herself away from him slowly, as if unsure if she was ready to let him go yet. A playful smile danced across her face as she got up and stretched. His eyes were on her she was sure so she wiggled her tushy for his viewing pleasure and giggled, before stepping into the bathroom to start gathering things for a quick shower. She hadn't seen what mask he was going to wear, or if he had chosen one at all yet, and wasn't sure if he had seen her dress. The necklace he got her would match it beautifully and she couldn't wait to show it off. Vanity wasn't her favorite emotion. This was more like pride not only in the jewelry, but in James himself. It was her way of saying he was hers. She stepped into the hot water and sighed as the warmness of it all enveloped her. Reaching for him in the Force she sent a soft brush meant for his face, before leaning back and closing her eyes so the water could moisten her hair. The smells and fluids from their dance were fading with each droplet, but hear heart was as swollen as ever. Once again Katarine felt like she was in her own version of a romance novel. Whoever the author was should be beaten for taking James away for so long, but at least they had held enough since to bring him back. With James back in her life Katarine was once again Juliette awaiting her Romeo. Yes, this truly was a love story.

Posts: 38 (09/02/09 6:29) Sith Apprentice All the Lies Keep me Awake Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Allister had appreciated Bella letting him stay in her Uncle's apartment those past couple of days, but he had to admit that he was shaped quite differently than he was. Knowing he'd find nothing he could wear to the ball in the closet at the apartment, Allister had wondered down to the base floor of the establishment which was lavish with bright lights, attractive furniture and decorations and employees willing to help with your every need. As he walked through the door to the apartment, Allister looked down and ran his hands across the soft fabric of his tuxedo and smirked as he thought of how helpful the man in the lobby was with directing him to the fitting shop. He knew hotels and aparment complexes had a lot, but here they seemed to have more than you could possibly need. Raising his head at Bella's call, it seemed he'd been heard stepping through the doorway into the apartment. Walking towards the door to the bedroom, he decided he'd pleasently surprise her with the mask he'd gone out and selected, but the efect on first sight would certainly be dulled as after he slipped it over his face comfortably, his hair fell across his brow again covering the upper half of the mask with a black drape of hair. Twisting the door knob, Allister opened the door to the master bedroom and stood idol in it while his eyes searched for Bella. Taking in a breath before he caught a glimpse of her, Allister suddenly froze and couldn't move while he looked at his young companion.

He knew she would be looking gorgeous as she always did, at least to him, and be ready to make this night an interesting one in more ways than one. She was energetic and quite lively in nature, especially when he threw himself in the mix of things, but a few things he'd heard the past few weeks had him thinking, and possibly too much. Turning, Diesel walked across the room and looked himself over in the mirrior before sitting down on a red bench in the room as he waited for Raine. Hearing her call, he replied in a calm manner, "Yes, my evil little pixie." As he waited a few moments for her to reveal her chosen attire, Diesel went ahead and began asking questions he knew she might not enjoy answering, but his interest was peaked at hearing the whispers about her past. "Oh, Raine. What is it you've come to find out about a 'Venge Draclau'?" He asked while looking down picking at one of the treds on his shoe.
